Alhamdulillah water borehole project has been started in Northern Uganda, Mwanakolong village MashaAllah. Jazakumullah Khair to Dandenong Madrasa and DM Art and Calligraphy for helping us to raise funds for this project. May Allah grant you best Ajr in this world and in the Akhirah. Ameen.
Fundraising for water well in Northern Uganda
Uganda
is called as “Pearl of Africa,” for its mesmerising landscapes and amazing wildlife. Despite its beauty, the country suffers from seasonal drought, regional instability, and climate-related challenges. Ugandans water crisis is very critical. Although the government has invested in critical infrastructure to make water more accessible to rural communities—home to more than 75% of Uganda’s population but still the need is way more.
Uganda is facing a growing water pollution crisis due to toxic runoff from industries, sewage, and chemicals which pose a threat to the country’s lakes and rivers. The village people are the sufferer.
In a Hadith Qudsi we find that, Allah SWT will call on the day of judgment thus,
يا ابن آدم استسقيتك فلم تسقني! قال: يارب كيف أسقيك وأنت رب العالمين؟! قال: استسقاك عبدي فلان فلم تسقه! أما علمت أنك لو سقيته لوجدت ذلك عندي؟” ((رواه مسلم)).
O son of Adam, I asked water from you but you did not give it to Me. The person would say: “My Rubb, how could I give You (water) and You are the Rubb of the worlds?’ Thereupon Allah SWT would say: ‘Such and such a slave of Mine asked you for water to drink but you did not give it to him. Did you not realize that if you had given him to drink you would have found (its reward) with Me?”‘ (Muslim)
In an another Hadith we find,
.عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ (رضي الله عنه)، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ “ سَقْىُ الْمَاءِ
Saad bin Ubada (Rd) “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, what charity is best?’ He said: ‘Giving water to drink.’” (Sunan Ibn Majah 3684)
We will raise $1000, so come forward to build a water well together. If we donate $50, then 20 people can make $1000 and that’s how, our small steps can solve the water crisis of this area inshaAllah.
We have two option’s- one is donation whole heartedly.
Another option is, You can purchase a calligraphy from us, that’s how you will get goods from us and we will be able to raise the money as well. The money will be added for the water well building. You can order from here-
